What do you mean by Special Needs?

According to the Education Act 1996, a child has special educational needs if he or she has a learning difficulty which calls for special educational provision to be made for him or her.

Leapfrog has qualified professionals trained in assessing the child's strengths and weaknesses utilising various strategies to support the child's learning.

Staff will work together with families and other professionals to devise an Individual Education Plan (IEP) which will focus on three or four specific targets. The IEP will be regularly reviewed and updated and will work alongside our current curriculum.
