Villiers Road Leapfrog Neighbourhood Nursery & Pre-school

Our Villiers Road Day Nursery and Pre-School opened in 2013, located in a spacious Victorian building purposely modified to provide a welcoming, safe and inspiring environment with dedicated spaces for 1 through to 5 year olds. Complimented by a strong and experienced team of qualified Early Years practitioners who ensure your child is well cared for whilst inspiring them as they actively learn through both indoor and outdoor play.

We believe in encouraging children’s natural curiosity through exciting, fun and challenging learning experiences, inspiring children to actively learn whilst making wonderful memories to last a lifetime.

Location

• Over looking Clarendon Road Green, our Nursery is located a short walk from Palmerston Road in one direction and the seafront in the other
• The closest bus stop is located at The Circle on Clarendon Road just a few steps away
• On street parking is available surrounding Clarendon Road Green right outside the nursery

Our building

The Nursery is based in a spacious and airy Victorian house with wonderful high ceilings and large windows. Three separate rooms across two floors each with designated art areas, quality natural sensory resources helping inspire children’s learning with quiet areas for children to rest and recharge.

Whether they choose the wild garden, climbing trees or freeing their imagination in the builders yard, the mud kitchen or pirate ship, the large mature garden provides a safe outdoor space for the children to freely explore nature and play.

Babies and Toddlers

Our light and airy room provides room to crawl and explore and is complimented by stimulating sensory, ball pit and art areas. When naptime beckons children can cosy up in our calm and relaxing sleep area. Outside children can enjoy active fun in the baby and toddler wooden play area through exploring nature,sand and water play, climbing ramps and toddling across bridges. Children are supported by constant care from our practitioners as they encourage challenging and stimulating child initiated activities enabling even the youngest child to develop and progress at their own pace as they grow in confidence.

Two-Threes

A fun and vibrant space to toddle, play and learn. Children can explore a variety of creative resources, sensory activities and enjoy stories and rhyme to encourage communication. And when they’ve burnt off energy playing in the custom designed garden, children can dream about their next big adventure in our comfortable sleep area.

Pre-School

Pre school children enjoy a fun learning environment. Based around daily routines with carefully selected resources designed to satisfy and develop the most inquisitive of minds. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to be challenging and exciting – covering all areas of healthy, active learning. Through adult initiated child led activities, children have the opportunity to develop key skills, build self-confidence and initiative in readiness for their next leap into school.
